Thanks to Jennifer Ryan, Edelweiss and Tasty Book Tours for the opportunity to read and review this great story. I was hooked with The Return of Brody McBride and wanted to read this one the minute I was finished with Brody’s book. I was not disappointed.
When Owen’s client, Shannon, causes Shannon’s ex husband to lash out at Owen, an innocent bystander gets caught in the crossfire. Enter Claire, who is attacked by Shannon’s ex and when Owen gets called because his name was brought up, the beginning of Claire and Owen story happens.
With the twists and turns of this story, Owen and Claire find themselves targets of someone who doesn’t like the two of them together. What happens when the truth comes out? Excitement!!
