Thank you to Entangled Publishing for reaching out for a review. I was instantly intrigued by this story and I am so glad that I agreed to read this quick novella. Right from the beginning, I was sucked in. What can I say, I love anything to do with military or black ops and romance.
John and Lucie meet after Lucie was held hostage and John’s team rescued her and her sister Zara. When John shows up to Zara’s baby shower, he sees Lucie again and the feelings that were there before are still there When Lucie tells John that she wants him for her 30th birthday, the fun and excitement begins.
What happens when old enemies decide that they want what they believe is owed to them? A thrilling twist to this great story.
