I am always on the hunt for brand new authors, so when I heard Kathy was releasing her debut novel, I jumped at the chance to review this. And I’m glad I did.
What starts out as a typical second chance love story quickly takes a turn in to a mystery that is years in the making. This certainly makes it stand out from most second chance love stories.
Shayne and Luke have been apart for 7 years. Ripped apart due to circumstances not of their making, they moved on as best as they could. When Shayne’s beloved aunt passes, her homecoming becomes more than she bargained for as she finds out Luke is back, and he i looking for her. She isn’t ready. She’s been keeping a secret from him. A pretty big secret too. One that will change his life forever.
These two have to battle major trust issues to make this work again. Throw in danger that is sure to derail the couple and you have a book that will satisfy every reader.
Will they get their HEA? Only time will tell, because I wont 🙂
