Review & Release Day Blitz Need by KI Lynn and N Isabelle Blanco
March 3, 2015
Sometimes love happens at first sight, even when you’re at an age where you can’t comprehend what it means.
It was just a crush. They were only kids, after all. But what happens when that feeling never goes away?
Brayden and Kira have been neighbors for years, and best friends since they met. They have a connection that is evident to many, and it’s haunted them their whole lives.
Teenage hormones rage, turning their friendship into something neither can handle. The attraction is carnal, all-consuming, and it seems like it’s only a matter of time before Brayden loses control.
Everything slams to a halt when their single parents decide to get remarried . . . to each other. Bad decisions and broken friendships make living across the hall from the one person you want above all difficult. Luckily for Brayden, it’s only for a few months before he’s off to college in another state, leaving Kira to face high school alone.
Brayden tries to stay away, to forget her, but it’s an impossible task he fails at time and time again. Kira is morphing from a sexy teenager to an irresistible woman, one that knows what she wants and seems hell-bent on getting it.
As Kira’s eighteenth birthday approaches, Brayden has a decision to make. Does he keep running away from the thing he wants the most or does he run toward it?
Is it possible to ever be happy without the one person you need?
“I’m Brayden, baby. The man you’ve been dreaming about your whole life. And I’m about to fucking show you why.”
Part 1 of a 2 part series.
I’m going to fucking tear someone apart.
I’ll obliterate every part of them, and then move onto someone else.
Austin’s first. I’ll rip Craig apart if he gets in my way, too. I won’t stop until I’m surrounded in nothing but chaos. Until the world around me reflects everything rolling around inside me.
Hell, the way I feel right now, I want to rip apart Ryan, my fucking father, Sonia, our God damned neighbors. I’ll destroy everything. My car. This driveaway. My father’s house. Everything.
Especially the little demon that just blasted out of my car and is busy stomping in her cute, flowery heels toward the front door.
“I’m not done with you!” I slam my car door so hard I’m surprised the windows don’t shatter.
“I’m so, so, so done with you!” She opens the door and storms inside, closing it before I can catch up to her.
The hell she is. It’ll be over my dead body the day she’s done with me.
I grab onto the knob and twist…fucking girl locked it! Huffing like a beast, I yank my keys out of my pocket and shove the one for the house into the keyhole, almost breaking it off as I turn it, shaking with all the pent up emotions inside me.
Right now, anger is winning. Big time.
Soon it’s going to be something else. I’m going to lose control.
And I don’t give a damn. This girl is going to see the error of her ways before I even think of backing down. Flirting with Austin in front of me. Following after him. Who the hell does she think she is?
Kira is rushing up the stairs by the time I get into the foyer. “I told you I wasn’t done with you!”
“Leave me the hell alone, I don’t have to listen to you!”
I take the stairs two at a time, gaining on her.
“Kira? Brayden?” Sonia call from the kitchen. “What’s going on? Is everything alright?”
“This asshole thinks he can tell me what to do!” Kira screams down at her mother.
“Kira!” Sonia is clearly shocked at her daughter’s behaviour.
She should be more worried about Kira’s choice of clothing or the guys she decides to flirt with in front of me.
“Your daughter thinks she can wear the tiniest shorts on Earth and that me and Ryan aren’t going to have anything to say about it,” I say, loud enough for Sonia to hear.
Kira glares at me over her shoulder. “You have no right.”
“Kira, of course he’s going to worry about you. He’s your stepbrother!”
We both growl at Sonia’s reminder.
Kira whirls around, pointing her stubborn, cute little finger in my face. “You are not my brother.”
I grab her hand, muscles carrying out the acts of my emotions, and pin her to the wall. Her body’s covered by every inch of mine, my dick pounding against her stomach so hard I can’t see straight anymore. I hold her hand down by her side, grab her neck with my other hand, and lean in to sniff her.
The scent of her hits home, right in the most painful, starving part of me.
My back arches, feet pushing into the floor to give me more leverage, and I rock my hips against her. All-consuming want has control. I’m nothing but a beast in heat. Furious with the need to fuck what’s mine.
She arches back into me, like she was made to, her tiny moan ripping a desperate one out of me.
I breathe her in, rubbing my nose up and down her neck like a maniac, across her jaw. My nose skims her mouth, finding it parted for me, her lower lip plump and wet. “How many times am I going to tell you I know I’m not your brother?” I growl into her juicy mouth, teeth grinding as I fight the urge to eat it.
The way she says my name when she needs me is going to be the death of me. Grinding into her, I let my forehead fall onto hers, eyes squeezed closed. “Why are you doing this?” I ask her, my voice reflecting what is going on inside me, how I feel my cells being torn apart. “Why are you driving me crazy like this?”
“You’re always driving me crazy,” she complains, but her hands are in my hair, her fingers running across my scalp.
God, yes. Her words, her touch—they soothe the proprietary monster inside me. I nuzzle her nose with mine, our bodies rubbing, seeking, calming me and exciting me all at once. I want to kiss her sweet lips, rub my tongue against hers. Hear her moan my name into my mouth.
“Kira,” I groan instead, pressing my fisted hands against the wall next to her head. But I don’t move away from her yet. I can’t. The smell of her, how her smaller body grinds into me and teases my cock, has me so worked up I’m about to go off right here. Just from dry humping her. “We can’t do this. You know that.”
“But I want you, Brayden.”
Her whispered confession blasts through me, incinerating all logic.
Yes. Yes. Yes. She wants me. Not fucking Austin. Not some other dipshit. Me.
I grab her wrists, forcing her arms up high above her head, taking complete control of her body. I open my eyes, finding hers liquid with want, locked on my lust-tightened face. For me. All for me. Her sexy little tongue peeks out, wetting her lower lip and teasing me with a glimpse of what’s mine.
What was taken from me years ago.
What I’m going to own again.
I seal my mouth over hers without warning, jerking at that first taste of her lips after such a long time. She goes wild beneath my weight, rubbing against me like she’s about to come for me, her lips parting and her tongue sliding out to taste me. Like I’m tasting her.
Fucking my mouth as rough as I’m fucking hers.
Fuck. I’m going to come. The tip of my cock is swollen, pulsating with an orgasm that’s going to wreck me. I’ve never been this ready. This worked up.
And Kira’s about to give it to me. Her fingers pull at my hair, her hips riding my thigh, and I know she’s about to come with me just as hard as I’m going to with her.
I bite at her lip hard, pulling back and dragging my teeth along it, opening my eyes enough to see her beautiful face all scrunched up with the pleasure I’m giving her—
There’s a loud crash from downstairs, what sounds like a pot or something equally as heavy slamming into the floor, and Sonia’s low curse follows after.
“No,” Kira whimpers when I pull back, her fingers tight around the back of my head, refusing to let me go.

Need KI LYNN & N Isabelle Blanco
Where to start with this review…. OH. KI , Nyddi. .. RUN….HIDE…
Oh my word, now that that is out of the way. Need. I COULD NOT put this book down. Unless you count when my kindle hit the window because I got so mad at one point. *side glares at KI and Nitti*
Need is so out of the normal writing style for both authors. It suprised me when I found out that they were writing a taboo story. And OMW.. If you haven’t read Need yet. Go 1 click that sucker. I’ll wait while you go….
Okay? You’ve one clicked it? Great
Brayden this kid, you couldn’t pay me enough money to say a nice thing about this boy, yes I said boy at the end of Need. The beginning, I was rooting for him 100000% over.
Kira- Innocent little girl. My heart breaks repeatedly over and over for her through out Need.
Ryan- The worlds greatest brother and best friend. That is until..
Need opens up with All three of the main characters meeting and building their relationship as friends. Once you start getting into the older ages… WOAH… That’s when things take an explosive turn. For the better or for the worse? You’ll have to read to figure that one out.
Fast forward-Brayden your average college kid who is out to get his noodle wet. Oh he does more than he really needs to in my opinion. But at What cost? The cost of his friendships? The cost of his family? I was rooting for him from the word go. He had a somewhat good childhood from what I could gather. Need is based on the fundamental of trust and… I will let you find out what else. I think a few of the characters could use a lesson in it. I honestly do not know which angle to approach Need from. I could tell you a million things about it, but then I would feel like I’m giving the plot line away.
This is very much a taboo subject and while I usually do not read Taboo, I would pick nees up a Million times over. It is not only visually appealing to the eye but written very well. My hat is off to KI and Nyddi.
First off I was given an ARC of NEED to read for an honest review. I have to give NEED five kisses would totally give more if possible. We first meet Brayden and Kira , when Kira and her mom and brother Ryan move in next door. Ryan and Brayden strike up a friendship and that in turn throws Kira into Braydens path, even at such young age these two have a bond/connection that will last for years to come. We see them grow up and their relationship changes as they get older, it isn’t until they are teens one going off to college and the other being a sophmore in high school that they are thrown a curve ball no one sees coming (your going to have to read to find out). Here’s just some of my reactions throughout reading the book, ‘Brayden deserves to be tortured by Kira, sorry not sorry. He done this to him self. He’s just lucky she didnt flip out on him’ and this ‘My heart hurts, Brayden has got to be the most insufferable jerk alive. Im in tears over how Kira is feeling.’ ‘While Im not happy with how Kira goes about making Brayden realize what all he’s done to her, but I understand her reasonings behind it and I cant blame her for doing it that way.’ KI Lynn and N. Isabelle Blanco dont hold anything back and they give us the UST they come through with a very intriguing and one of a kind story. Now these ladies need to get working on part 2 and give us more Brayden and Kira. Awesome job ladies.
