REVIEW: SIN by Violetta Rand

Sin proves that passion goes beyond smoldering desire when hearts dance to their own special beat.

Every woman at the Devil’s Den strip club has a story to tell, and Macey Taylor is no exception. Smart and self-reliant, she’s got a chip on her shoulder, a broken heart, and no patience for a sexy new manager with an Ivy League pedigree and a strict set of rules. Macey prefers to break rules, something she lets Joshua Camden know from the start—even as he ignites a fire in her that goes beyond the hottest club in town.

Joshua is working the Devil’s Den for all it’s worth, learning everything he can about the adult-entertainment game before investing in a place of his own. Macey is a surprise: a woman as strong-willed as she is gorgeous. Joshua wants to get inside her world, to see through her eyes. But he soon discovers that seduction is a two-way street—and expecting redemption without risking his heart may be the greatest sin of all.

As always I would like to thank Random House Loveswept, Tasty Book Tours and NetGalley for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review. Ok so I need to confess I read this WAY before this review goes live, but after reading Violetta Rand’s first two books in this series I couldn’t not read Macey’s story and jumped right onto Netgalley to look for it. Though I will say I was slightly disappointed that she didn’t end up with Wesley (mostly because I thought it would be cute to have 2 best friends married to 2 best friends and they were hot together) I am glad that she ended up with who she ended up with. In the beginning of this book Wesley proves himself to be a snob, and Macey is too good for someone that only sees the superficial person. Oh and Joshua turns her life up-side down, but its exactly what she needed. They have both been hurt in the past and that makes for a few moments of stupid way of being, but we are human and its kind of understandable. Another thing I love about Joshua is that in his own way he pushes Macey to do more for herself, and to learn to love herself, that I don’t think many have done before. I have to admit to one thing I was slightly disappointed in, though we get lots of Robyn and what is going on with her life, I wish we’d gotten some of Marisela and Craig as well. I will confess that I hope Violetta Rand brings us more stories from the girls at the Devil’s Den, but will be happy with what happened with these three if that doesn’t happen.

I give this book and this author five big wet juicy kisses.

Happy Reading… Adri
