REVIEW: Total Surrender by Rebecca Zanetti

total surrender

A fight he must win . . .

Piper Oliver knows she can’t trust him. They warned her that the tall, dark, and sexy black-ops soldier Jory Dean would try to win her over with his steel-gray eyes and deadly charm, but she won’t be conned by this man they call a traitor. All she has to do is figure out the science necessary to save his life, and she’s done. Something isn’t adding up, though, and she won’t rest until she uncovers the truth-even if it’s buried in his deep, dangerous kiss.

A passion she can’t resist . . .

Jory will do anything to reunite with and save his brothers-even kidnap the gorgeous woman who’s working to deactivate the deadly chip in their spines. But the forces determined to destroy his family won’t let them go so easily. Keeping Piper alive is more than he bargained for-and so is his burning desire for her. But with every second bringing him closer to certain death, can he afford to lose himself in her hot and willing embrace?

As always I want to first thank NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing Forever for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review.

Ok I know this is strange but I didn’t start this series from book 1 or even 2 and I am still needing to find time to go back and read them. But I did get in on book 3 and absolutely loved it. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen with the Dean Brothers in Jory’s book. I couldn’t wait to see how they worked things out and got away from the evil clutches of the Commander and Dr. Maddison. How they were going to figure out the problem with the kill switches imbedded in their backs.

I have to say that Rebecca Zanetti doesn’t skimp on giving us a great adventure. The journey that Jory and Piper go through and the hard work that they do to help Jory and his brothers is incredible. I couldn’t stop reading this story. I even stayed up WAY to late wanting to know what happened next. Would they be able to figure out how to stop the clock. Would the commander do something to hurt is daughter Piper for helping Jory? What does Chance know about the Dean boys or what is he hiding? These were all questions that were running though my mind while I was reading. I couldn’t wait to get the answer to these questions. It was that exciting. The relationship between Piper and Jory was great as well. I so enjoyed how it slowly developed and how Piper’s presence in Jory’s life was able to show him how great it is to accept his feelings.

Yes there are a few questions at the end of this book that I was left with… Like will there be more books now that the Dean -well most of them at least- Brothers have all found love. Will we ever find out if what Dr. Maddison told the boys at the end is true? Will they ever find more brothers? Yeah these are all questions that I hope to some day get the answers to.

I give this book 5 adventurous kisses….

Happy Reading…. Adri
