That is until…
Luca’s world meets Lucia’s men on one disastrous day. Neither part of her knows what to do. While she is praying that her image as a powerhouse professional won’t be tainted and she lives the nightlife she loves, both of her will find her true self.
You know how you read the synopsis of a book and you get this idea in your head, then when you read the book, that idea went completely out the window? Yeah, that’s this book. I was not prepared for how twisted and dark this one was and I loved every second of it.
I will be honest, Luca was a bit hard for me to connect to. I found her to be quite the bitch actually. But I guess that was really the whole point. This was a woman who really didn’t know herself, so she put on a face. A persona, and lived life to the fullest. Until that life smacked her right in the face in her very own boardroom. That’s where things got very interesting.
Her men were a trip. I have to say, these two really had you second guessing Camden and Heath. Mitch and Leo though, I need more of them. I feel they have a story there somewhere. Back to the main men…Alisa and Kathy really put you in Luca’s head when it came to these two. I didn’t know how to feel about them. I went back and forth so many times.
I really started to connect to Luca toward the last half of the book. She became more real, less of the mask that she let the world see. The more the mask fell, the more I liked her.
The last 15% of the book left me stunned. It was totally unexpected! The whole book was one twisted, gritty, dark, suspenseful read.
I give Both of Her 5 gritty kisses
