Daniel Garrett is no stranger to heartache or tragedy. Haunted by the loss of his wife and son, he left the police force to devote his life to finding missing children. But he still hasn’t found a way to mend the wounds of his past—until he attends a wedding in the small town of Eternity Springs…and meets a beautiful woman who opens his heart to the healing power of love.

Shannon O’Toole isn’t looking for romance. Ever since her fiance’s death, she’s thrown herself into her work renovating houses. But she can’t deny her attraction to the sexy stranger she meets at a wedding. Daniel makes her feel things she hasn’t felt in years—and one night in his arms has her yearning for more. But can Shannon trust a detective with her darkest secret? Is Daniel ready to take a second chance at love? In Eternity Springs, anything—and everything—is possible…

As always first things first… Thank you St. Martin’s Press and Netgalley for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review.

Ok of all the books that I read for the holiday season I have to say this is the one that stayed with me the longest and hit me the deepest. Daniel and the purpose he has in life is heart wrenching. The things he has lived through and has had to suffer broke my heart. Then, add in what he has decided to dedicate his life in doing and taking care of. Yeah this was one of those that had me pulling out the box of tissues and crying like there was no tomorrow. Then lets add in Shannon and what she deals with, the things whe is hiding from, and knowing how close that hits home for me and I was emotionally and completely invested in this story. I loved the fact that things worked out so well for them and that they had such a wonderful connection. I loved this book that is for sure. I know for sure I want to go back and read the other books in this series. I adored all the characters we get to meet in this book.

I give his book 5 heartwarming kisses…

Happy Reading… Adri
