PERSUASION

Lang Anderson may be the new leader of the Sons of Odin motorcycle club, but his personal life is in shreds. He’s struggling to take care of his three young sisters in the wake of tragedy, while rumors of drug dealing within his ranks jeopardize everything he’s built. The last thing he needs is another distraction—like a bar brawl over a woman—but Lang is a sucker for a damsel in distress. And this one gets him roaring like a finely tuned engine.

High school guidance counselor Lily Gallo is no fender bunny. So why can’t she get Lang off her mind? Lily’s head says the rugged, rough-and-tumble biker who came to her aid is bad news. Her body begs to differ. But when Lang’s troubled kid sister walks into her office, Lily’s determined to help, even if it puts her in the crossfire of a gang war. On a crash course with danger and desire, Lily partners up with Lang to fight for his family—and for love.

POSSESSION

The Sons of Odin motorcycle club is back! Violetta Rand follows up Persuasion (“A seriously sexy thrill ride!”—Stacey Kennedy) with a sizzling short novel that takes passion to the brink of chaos . . . and beyond.

Ambitious young attorney Tina Bethel doesn’t have time for commitment, but she wouldn’t pass up some hot, no-strings sex with the right guy—like Sons of Odin officer Vincent Ramos. Six feet, five inches of solid muscle and biker masculinity, he revs Tina up like no man ever has. The trouble is, every time they get physical, Tina’s cravings are never quenched—because Vincent always pumps the brakes before the point of no return.

With her sexy body packaged in a short skirt, Tina’s enough to drive any man crazy. Vincent isn’t sure how he’s resisted her shameless come-ons. He just knows that if he gives in, he won’t be able to stop—and after two failed marriages, he can’t afford any more broken promises. But when a disgruntled client of Tina’s starts stalking her, Vincent has to make up his mind about his true feelings—fast. Because if he’s willing to put his body in the line of fire, he should be able to risk his heart in the name of love.

As always first and foremost is the thanks to the publisher Random House Loveswept and Netgalley for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review.

Its no secret that I love Violetta Rand and as soon as I found out she had a new series (a biker one at that) coming out I knew I wanted to jump all over and read it. But since life got a bit in the way I didn’t get a chance to read Persuasion before it came out and once I finally did get around to it Possession as already in well my possession, so I thought best to read both these books together. And once again Violetta doesn’t disappoint in bringing you a hot and sexy set of characters. Characters that have been through a lot and a fighters, both physically and emotionally. These bikers know what they want but also know that their lifestyles are exactly the safest to have woman in. But life and love does not give them that option to not go after what they want or keep their hands to themselves. Though I do have to say that I was getting as sexually frustrated as Tina was while reading possession since Vincent kept pulling on the brakes just when things were starting to get juicy. Until he finally breaks. I liked Lily a lot for Lang because even though she was another girl in his life she wasn’t a delicate dainty one. She was one who had seen enough to know what she wanted and what she could handle. I will admit that the one thing I didn’t like was a decision that Lang makes at the end of his book, but hopefully one that will get rectified in future books. Like always I love seeing the secondary characters of one book getting their chance in the spot light as well as getting to visit with some of the previously primary characters in another book. One thing I will admit that I would love to see and wonder if it would ever happen is The Sons of Odin coming across or meeting up with some of the characters from Devils Den Series. But because I think a cross of those two series would be great.

I give both these books 5 raving kisses…

Happy Reading… Adri
