Review: A Wicked Woman by Vanessa Vale

Because of her stepsisters, Eve Jamison is driven from her hometown in scandal with a train ticket in one hand and a proxy marriage license in the other. But when she arrives in the small Colorado mountain town, she discovers her groom recently died. Even though she never met her husband, the new widow learns she is quite wealthy. At the mercy of her dead husband’s money-grubbing family, Knox and Jed Dare each vow to protect her. They both want the beautiful bluestocking and refuse to cede way to the other.

Eve has other ideas where the two men are concerned. Because she is now a woman of Slate Springs, she doesn’t have to choose. She wants both Jed and Knox… and gets them.

I would like to first off thank Vanessa Vale for providing me with a copy of this book so that I could bring you this review.

Oh I think of the 3 Mail Order Bride of Slate Spring books that Ms Vale has written so far this by far is my favorite. I love the fact that despite 2 very wicked women Eve is able to not only get beyond it and find two very helpful and great men. But also look above what they did to her and wish them happiness. I so enjoyed the fate that they were met with and can’t wait to see if Ms Vale writes about the two sisters in the future. Now let me talk about Jed and Knox… the fact that they weren’t originally from Slate Springs and only came to find things out because of their sister was so much fun. Their open-mindedness and not to mention their sexiness… yum… but then again I might have a small weakness for gingers. The spice in this book was just right for me when it came to a relationship with the three. I can’t wait for more from Slate Springs and Vanessa Vale.

I gave this book 5 gingery kisses…

Happy Reading… Adri
