Title: Taking Avery
Co Written By: D.H Sidebottom & Ker Dukey
Release Date: September 20th
When a reckless act upsets the balance between two MC clubs, everyone is fair game in the war that erupts.
Avery belongs to Lilith’s Army now, after being taken against her will, but she isn’t just anyone, she’s a Cutter’s MC Princess, and they don’t take kindly to people taking what’s theirs.
As Avery’s life starts to spiral out of control, she finds that her only hope of survival is to put her trust in the man she doesn’t trust at all. The only man that can bring destruction to not only both clubs, but also to her heart.
When the fallout reaches beyond just the two clubs, the consequences bring death, devastation, and chaos for everyone.
The dynamics of both clubs change forever in the wake that follows. Fate isn’t done teaching Avery that life isn’t always better with the devil you know sometimes it’s with the devil you don’t.
I’ve always loved the mc sub genre, and books like this are why. Slade and Avery make quite the couple. These two were shaped by the life that they grew up in, so honor and duty are paramount. There were times that I forgot just how young Avery is ( she’s 18), but you have to keep in mind where she grew up. She isn’t so jaded that she loses hope of a different life, but she isn’t that naive to think that it is a real possibility either. Slade, on the other hand, knows what direction his life is going to take him. He was born for it. I think though, if he isn’t careful, his sense of duty and honor could get him into real trouble.
The plot is fast paced and gritty, dark if you will. The series of events that led Slade and Avery together, come to a head in one heck of a cliff hanger. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bedtime stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so I thought it best that I tell my own.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made of light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
You can find me on Facebook where I love interacting with my readers.
