 My Review
After reading the first book, I couldn’t wait to get more Blake and Sophia. Their story isn’t a pretty one and it shows the ugly downside of fame. She’s a girl that has grownup in the gilded world of Hollywood and the one person that has always been there to protect her from herself and the sharks around her has gone. I was so angry with her mother and the others around her that were supposed to be looking out for her well being. They weren’t looking out for Sophia the person, they were making sure Sophia the investment was able to perform. We get to see a new side to Sophia in this book. a more mature and grown up side. It seems she is realizing who is there for her and who isn’t. It was nice to see her with a backbone, she’s kind of feisty.
I adore Blake. He is always trying to do what’s best for everyone, especially Sophia. I loved that we got to see a different side to him with his family (his mother is amazing). It really gave the reader insight as to why he feels the way he feels about Sophia and her addiction. I especially loved that he was willing to do whatever was best for her, even if it meant doing something he didn’t want to do. She has always came first for him.
I have fallen in love with Sophia and Blake’s story and cannot wait to see where Anna Bloom take them next
