REVIEW: Merger by Chelle Bliss
Lauren Bradley knows how to survive as a woman in a man’s world–trust no one. Especially handsome, smooth-talking men who make her panties melt with a single glance like Antonio. But his offer is almost as tempting as he is.
Sometimes to gain it all, you have to give up everything…

Merger begins right where Acquisition left off, so if you MUST read Acquisition first.
For me, Merger had a much different feel to it than Acquisition. Acquisition was about the chase. Everything is new, so it amps up the excitement level, and yes, the drama as well. Merger is what happens after the chase, when things start to become real. Is it exciting? Yes. Is there drama? Of course. But it’s on a deeper level than what it was before. All the little inconsequential things matter a lot less and your priorities shift as you get comfortable in your new role. This is where Lauren and Antonio were for me, throughout the book. The fact that we see them stripped bare, took the emotional aspect to another level for me as a reader. I, like Lauren, fell in love with his family. I really think they played a huge part in helping Lauren see a different side of Antonio. I can only imagine what would happen if they would meet the Gallo’s! Family plays a huge part in all of Chelle’s books and I think that’s why she is one of my favorite authors.
The book ended perfectly for me, as far as Lauren and Antonio go. Call me selfish, but I would love to see more about the Forte family, especially the brother 😉
Merger is yet another 5 star read for me
