Bossing the Cowboy
Circle B Ranch Series, #4
Bossing the Cowboy is now available on all retailers!
After surviving a messy divorce and custody battle, Dr. Connor Wallen quickly became married to his job. Helping animals is the perfect distraction from his crazy ex, but he finds it difficult to concentrate when an attractive woman joins his veterinary clinic. Getting involved with someone who works for him would only lead to disaster, so staying professional is key.
He tries to ignore her, but their chemistry is undeniable.
Elizabeth Bishop can’t stand her boss or how he treats her, but there aren’t many job options in small-town Texas. No matter what she does, it’s never good enough for Connor, but she continues trying to impress him anyway.
She’ll never admit she’s attracted to him and denies it every chance she gets.
Avoiding him is impossible, but Elle keeps her distance whenever possible. After his walls start to crumble, she knows her feelings aren’t one-sided. She’s tired of playing his games and is ready to prove who’s really in control.
Although he pushes her away, she’s determined to pull him closer—showing him exactly what they’ve both been missing.
**Bossing the Cowboy is a complete stand-alone and can be read without reading any of the other books or spin-off series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect.**

We would like to thank Kennedy Fox for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review. This is another joint review as both Erin and Adri enjoy these Circle B Ranch characters.
Adri’s Review:
Kennedy Fox has been building us up for 3 books now on Connor and Elle’s story. They have been teasing us and just giving us a hit of how it is going to build up to. And let me tell you they make sure they take you on a ride emotionally. There are so many things you feel throughout this book that you don’t know whether you hate a character, love them, or want to cry for them. The need that Connor has to keep things hidden and to deal with things all on his own makes you at times want to go through the (kindle in my case) book and throttle him. Teach him its ok to lean on someone and to be vulnerable every once in a while. Then then you want to shake Elle and make her snap out of her fears as well. And how can you not fall in love with Olivia. She is just the icing on the cake for this couple. She gets exactly what she needs and helps Connor in ways she will never know. I will say one of the things I most enjoyed about this one is that Kennedy Fox took us on a long ride before she gave us the goods. It was great to get the background and backstory of their relationship when it comes to what was going on with Connor and Elle during the 3 other books. You learn the relationship and aren’t just thrown in somewhere in the middle. It to me was so important and special. You also get the dynamic of the Bishop family some more. And the banter between the cousins and siblings, what can I say. As someone who comes from a big family I loved seeing it. This was definitely one of my favorites and now I am really looking forward to Kissing the Cowboy and Winning the Cowboy.
I gave this book 5 bossy kisses.
Happy Reading… Adri
Erin’s Review:
I love a good single dad romance, and Dr Connor Wallen is easily one of my favorite single dads ever. If you were to look up the definition of smoldering sexual tension, his picture would be front and center. He’s protective, guarded (and for good reason), is amazing father, and isn’t afraid of a hard day’s work. And when Elle Bishop comes to work for him at his vet clinic, his walls go up even higher. Elle is a breath of fresh air. She is sunshine and happiness. She works her butt off to achieve her goals but the one person who she hopes would notice all that hard work won’t even so much as smile her way.
And the one that stole the show…Olivia, Connor’s daughter. She is just precious and deserves the world, which is why her daddy tries so hard to protect her.
I loved that the book jumped in time. It really moved the story along and didn’t weigh it down with unnecessary drama. These two already had enough between Connor’s baby mama drama and Elle’s well meaning, but nosy family. But a family that I adored, by the way. Their story is a slow burn that showed that it really takes trust in someone to be vulnerable, especially when it isn’t just your heart involved. Having not read the other books in the series (YET), I wasn’t lost at all, and was easily able to get the sense of the family dynamics and part of how everyone fits in to the Circle B world. Circle B is full of family, fun, and love and I’m all for it! I can’t wait for the next book, then to catch up with the first 3. This family has this reader’s heart forever
