Review: Kissing the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox

Kissing the Cowboy

Circle B Ranch, #5

Kissing the Cowboy is now available on all retailers!

After drinking a bottle of wine, Harper tells her business rival that she recently got engaged. Once the hangover wears off, Harper realizes she now needs a fake fiancé or to admit she lied. Wanting to avoid the backlash, she asks her childhood best friend for a favor.

?ℎ? ??? ??????? ?ℎ?’? ??? ?? ???? ???ℎ ℎ??, ??? ℎ?? ?????????? ???? ??????? ??ℎ??????.

Ethan Bishop will do anything for Harper, even if it’s crazy and means risking his heart. Pretending to be engaged to the woman he’s always loved proves to be difficult—especially when repressed feelings bubble to the surface.

?? ???? ????? ?? ℎ???, ??? ???????? ?? ℎ?? ???? ???? ?ℎ????ℎ ℎ?? ???̧???.

It’s hard to know what’s real or fake when their private moments turn intimate. When they cross the line and fall between the sheets, the truth is undeniable.

Just as they feared, their friendship’s no longer the same. However, one thing’s certain—there’s no going back now.

**Kissing the Cowboy is a complete stand-alone and can be read without reading any of the other books or spin-off series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect.**

Adri’s Review
Of course I really enjoyed this book cause who can’t enjoy a friends to lovers story. The elaborate story that Harper comes up with to complete with someone who isn’t worth it, but it is the catalyst for her to get who and what she has always wanted. This helps to build the tension between Harper and Ethan, that finally explodes in a moment. But of course Kennedy Fox couldn’t leave it there, they have to be too afraid to express their true feeling for another and causes all kinds of drama. Then all heck breaks loose even more when mama Bishop finds out. That is a great scene and I enjoyed seeing how they were going to figure out the way out of that one. There are a few moments that I didn’t exactly enjoy, but I think I was looking for maybe a little more drama and excitement to happen between Harper and Ethan, but that is my need for drama nothing to do with the amazing writing. This also makes me very curious to see what happens with Knox and Kane, so this book teases you and makes you want more of the other characters. I was also left curious on what happened with Harpers nemesis so I wish we would’ve seen a bit more of her, but again that was my need for drama talking.
I gave this book 4.5 kisses.
Happy Reading… Adri
