I never imagined my new roommate would be the man I’d actually fall for. Though I don’t get close to the people I sleep with, he’s been my exception. Archer acts emotionally unavailable while he focuses on starting over, but our connection is too strong to ignore.
He’s rugged on the outside and sweet on the inside—the opposite of my usual type. I see the way his eyes gaze up and down my body, making it harder to keep my feelings in check. Knocking down his walls is no easy task, especially with my brother interfering, but I refuse to give up.
When lines are crossed and emotions bubble over, trouble finds us. We both have pasts that have leaked into our present—now I’m scared it’ll destroy the one secret we’ve been keeping.
WANTING YOU CLOSE is book 2 in the Archer & Everleigh duet and must be read in order.
I would like to start by thanking Kennedy Fox for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review.
Ok so before I discuss the spice in this book and how squishy it makes you, lets talk about how amazing these characters are. If you didn’t fall in love with Archer and Everliegh in book one you for sure fall in love with them in book two. The crap that they both go through and deal with is heartbreaking but the strength they have as a couple is out of this world. My heart broke a few times for the things that Everleigh deals with but she perceivers and makes it on top of the things that are trying to keep her down. And geese if Archer can get anymore protective and sexy I don’t think there would be a dry pair of pants in my home. Sheesh is he amazing.
Now lets talk about the spice… I don’t think there was a chapter where you weren’t drenching yourself while you read.
Now I want to know about a few side characters and I know Im not ready to let go of Lawton Ridge. I hope Kennedy Fox returns and gives a bit of a future to see what happened next.
I gave this book 5 very spicy kisses.
Happy Reading… Adri
